Amoured Cars Dropped Money

Garda's armored vehicle

An armored vehicle driver on a routine pickup at Revel Casino left the bag of cash worth $21,000 on the roof of his car and drove off. Surveillance video at the Revel shows that the bag on the rear driver's side roof of the truck. The money is still there six minutes later when the truck makes a pickup at Resorts Atlantic City. It is unclear where or when the money fell off after that, the Mail Online reported on 22 August 2014.

This not the first scenario of money lost while being transported by an armored car. In May, a man from California who was working in a parking lot picked up $125,000 that had fallen from one of the vehicles. Being part of a drug rehabilitation program, he returned the money. Joey Coyle found $1.2 million that had fallen from an armored car in 1981. The unemployed man from Philadelphia went on a spending spree, giving cash to friends and strangers alike. He was faced with theft charges later but was acquitted for reasons of temporary insanity.
